Marmalade is an originality of traditional Portuguese sweets. In the 15th century, it was already included in the Cookbook of Infanta D. Maria of Portugal and circulated on the route to India and Brazil during the Discoveries period. After the celebration of the first mass in Brazil, it was, neither more nor less, the first dessert to be consumed.
This fragrant, astringent-flavored liqueur is inspired by this traditional recipe, being made with delicious memilelus , the Latin translation of quince. The name alone makes your mouth water. It should be drunk chilled. To your health!
